FLEET MANAGER - TECHNICAL

ABOUT ESVAGT AND THE JOB

ESVAGT is a dedicated provider of safety and support at sea, founded on an experienced and well-trained crew and unmatched rescue capabilities. We are now hiring a Fleet Manager Technical to our Ship Management team, located at our HQ in Esbjerg. Ship Management is responsible for operational and technical management of currently 41 vessels in operation. 3 newbuildings are expected to join the fleet in 2025/2026. The Fleet Manager, Technical will be responsible for a defined group of vessels. The main objective is to ensure that all vessels are operational 24/7/365 and comply with customers’ expectations and requirements from authorities.

CANDIDATE

The candidate can be a marine engineer with few years of seagoing experience. The candidate will then be partnered up with one of our experienced Fleet Managers, Technical and trained in the position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete technical management of a group of vessels
• Preparation and timely execution of surveys, inspections, modifications and projects
• Close and direct contact with service providers, manufacturers, component suppliers, class societies and authorities
• Ensuring full compliance to requirements from legal authorities and ESVAGT Standard
• Technical ad hoc tasks

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Marine Engineer with seagoing experience or similar with strong technical problem solving capabilities
• Great team player with highly flexible approach and capacity to work independently when required
• Loyal, analytical, proactive and positive attitude with leadership potential
• Fluent spoken and written skills in Danish
• Communication and understanding of technical English
• Sincerely service-minded with commercial focus and understanding
