NEWBUILDING AND MODIFICATION OF VESSELS

ABOUT THE JOB

ESVAGT provides a wide range of specialized offshore services within the offshore wind and oil & gas sector and is continuing a positive global growth through new contracts and an expanding fleet. We are therefore looking for a Project Manager to support our Newbuilding team in Esbjerg.

The Newbuilding team is responsible for managing and executing newbuilding projects and larger modifications of ESVAGT vessels. In close cooperation with the ESVAGT organization, you will have the responsibility for the entire project phases from tender to delivery of the complete newbuilding. Based on the customer’s needs, company standards and regulatory requirements, you develop and specify the foundation for specialized newbuilding’s. Once the project is a reality, you develop and maintain the responsibility in relation to the customer as well as designers and shipyards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project management of complex newbuilding projects and/or larger modification projects
• Prepare outlines and detailed technical specifications for all kind of newbuilding projects.
• Develop technical analysis and detailed investigations.
• Close cooperation with customers, Legal Authorities, key suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experienced naval architect, mechanical or electrical engineer
• Track-record within project management
• Innovative and strong technical mindset
• Proficient in English and preferably Danish
• Flexible and proactive approach
• Highly committed to deliver high-quality newbuilding projects.
• Financial awareness
